Eyelash Extensions do not adhere to dirty lashes!
Please always show up to your appointment with eyes and lashes that are free of makeup and mascara.
*Plan to arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time if you will need to cleanse your eyes prior to application.
Concealer/under eye makeup & eyeshadow fall out transfers onto lashes causing a barrier between the natural lash and the applied extension. This will result in premature shedding and poor retention.
Lash Extensions DO NOT adhere to dirty lashes!!
Try to avoid caffeine on Lash days!
Caffeine will make your eyes flutter. Fluttering will make isolation harder.
This results in less lashes being able to be lashed. It also increases the chance of adhesive fumes stinging your eyes during application, causing watering (which causes lashes to shed prematurely) & temporary redness.
It is very important to keep your lash extensions clean and dry for the first 24 hours after application. This includes water, tears, steam, and extreme heat.
It is highly recommended to clean your lashes daily using an extension safe cleansing foam and brush.
Don't be afraid to really get in there!
Failure to practice proper home care allows for makeup, oils, sweat, and mucus to build up at the base of the lash causing bacteria to grow. This can lead to infection and mandatory removal of extensions.
Do not touch your lashes with anything other than lash wand or lash bath.

As the natural lash grows, the extension grows out (similar to acrylic nails). This can sometimes cause lashes to twist, and no longer lay properly. Twisting is typically an indication that you need to schedule your fills closer together.
Oils are the enemy of lash extensions.
They will creep between the natural lash and the extension causing the adhesive to break down and lashes to shed prematurely.
It is important to avoid oils at all costs. This includes certain face washes, makeup removers, mascaras, setting sprays, and natural oils from this skin (which is why its so important to cleanse with cleansing foam and brush).
Sleeping on your back is recommended for optimal retention.
Use of a silk pillowcase or specified lash extension sleep mask will help reduce friction and premature shedding due to incorrect sleeping habits.
Make sure to thoroughly rinse lashes after a sweaty workout, a good cry, and also before and after submersing lashes in chlorine or salt water.
It is typically recommended to splash your face, as opposed to putting your lashes directly under the stream of water.
Also, try allowing time for lashes to air dry a little before brushing them out.
